| With help from the
community, we light the River walk from the Walking
Bridge to Sunrise Bluffs Estate during the Winter
Celebration parade of lights with luminaries to honor
anyone who has been touched by cancer.
Luminary bags are available from any resource
member of the Chouteau County Cancer Support Group.
In the past, tax deductible donations have been
used to help cancer patients and their families in
Chouteau County
The process is easy. Chouteau
County Cancer Support Resource Group members have
donation forms and receipts. You make a tax deductible
donation (to CCCSG) and receive a bag to decorate.
Return the bag to the Resource Group Member and the
group members line the Riverwalk on Saturday night
during Winter Celebration. We even provide decorated
bags for anyone who chooses not to decorate their own.
The bags are lit by 5pm and
stay lit until approximately 8pm. In the past it has
truly proven to be a beautiful and humbling tribute to
people who are loved. Join us and make a tribute of love
and remembrance while helping others.
